Our Musical Journey

Gina began developing her musical gifts at a young age. She learned to play guitar alongside her sister, sang alto in a church trio, and later learned piano. As her abilities grew, she became the pianist at her church and began teaching a beginner Sunday School class at only fourteen years old. Music and ministry were already becoming central parts of her life.

After moving to East Texas, Gina was invited to sing with a local country band. Although she had been raised singing primarily in church, she stepped onto the stage and discovered a new opportunity to share her voice. During this season, she met guitarist Jimmy White. The two fell in love, married, and began building a life and family together.

In 2000, Gina recorded her first Gospel album. Soon afterward, Jimmy and Gina formed a band and began performing Gospel concerts. What started as a musical journey soon grew into a ministry centered on sharing the message of Jesus Christ through songs, testimonies, and the Word of God.

Throughout the years, Jimmy and Gina have traveled across the country singing in churches, concerts, and revivals. Together, they have recorded five CDs and have received several honors, including Duo of the Year and Band of the Year. Gina has also been recognized as Horizon Female, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. Their music has reached Gospel charts across the country, including two No. 1 songs and several Top 10 releases.

Some of Gina’s most meaningful songs have been inspired by personal experiences and the people she loves. Her song “What Color Is Grace” was written from a child’s perspective and inspired by her granddaughter. Another song, “Loving Me”was released to radio and became a successful Gospel recording.

Their ministry has also been shaped by perseverance and faith through difficult seasons. In 2009, Jimmy suffered a massive heart attack and spent 45 days in intensive care. Doctors offered little hope for his recovery, but Gina remained steadfast in prayer, joined by friends and believers across the country. Jimmy eventually recovered, and within a year, they were once again singing and ministering together.

Today, Jimmy & Gina White Music and Speaking Ministry continues to encourage people through Gospel music, personal testimony, and faith-filled messages. Their mission is simple: to reach souls, strengthen hearts, and use every opportunity God provides to share His love and grace.
